The villages sit right beside the campus. Coiscéim Student Village is adjacent to the Kerry campus and linked by a private footpath — all en-suite houses with parking and CCTV — though its website shows last year's prices, so confirm the current 2026/27 rate directly. Kerry Lee, about five minutes' walk from the North Campus, is purpose-built and advertising 2026/27 rooms but defers its rates to its letting agent, so you'll contact them for a quote. Kings Court Apartments at Manor West is another option (a 15-minute walk to the South Campus, with a shuttle to both), again with pricing you'll want to confirm for the new year. On transport, the campus shuttle linking North and South is the thing to understand — check which campus your course is actually based on, because it changes which village suits you. Tralee is also on the rail network, with connections via Mallow to Cork and beyond, so commuting is realistic for some.
The honest headline for Tralee: there isn't a lot of stock, and the providers warn that early bookers get the most choice. So contact Coiscéim, Kerry Lee and Kings Court in spring, get a written quote, and don't pay anything before you've seen the place and understood the deposit rules. If you're moving to Kerry from a distance, the higher non-adjacent SUSI rate is worth checking.
