This test complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. We process data lawfully, fairly, and transparently under the legal basis of legitimate educational interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Irish Data Protection Acts

We comply with the Data Protection Acts 1988-2018 and guidelines from the Data Protection Commission of Ireland.

This test is designed as an educational tool for self-reflection and study skills development. It does not collect sensitive wellbeing or psychological data, and therefore does not require parental consent for students under 18.

Our AI system is classified as limited-risk under the EU AI Act. We provide full transparency about AI usage and ensure human oversight of all recommendations.

Data Processing & Privacy

What Data We Collect:

  • • Student responses to 20 questions about learning habits (Likert scale 1-5)
  • • Calculated scores for: Planning, Monitoring, Reflection, Motivation
  • • AI-generated learning strategy profile and recommendations
  • • User ID and school ID (for access control)
  • • Timestamp of completion

How We Use This Data:

  • • Provide personalized learning strategy feedback to students
  • • Generate anonymized, aggregated class-level insights for teachers/school admins
  • • Improve our AI analysis algorithms

Your Rights:

  • Right to Access: View your test results at any time

Data Security:

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. Access is restricted through Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. Only the student, their teachers, and school administrators can view individual results. Class-level analytics are anonymized and aggregated.

Consent Requirements

This test does not require parental consent for any age group. It is purely educational and does not collect sensitive psychological, health, or wellbeing data. Students and schools may proceed without obtaining additional permissions.

By taking this test, students confirm they understand it is for educational reflection only and not a clinical or diagnostic tool.
